We are still listening!

The Governing Board’s Communications Committee is leading the transformation of communications at our school. We started in early summer with a discovery session with parent, administration and teacher stakeholders.

This roundtable kicked off the first phase of the school’s Listening Tour. Now we are in Phase 2 – the in-depth interview.

By Tuesday evening, 30 randomly selected parents, teachers, administrators and Governing Board members will receive an invitation to select an interview time slot. A member of the Communications Committee will reach out to you and confirm your interview slot. Once you select the interview slot, please understand you have committed your time and a volunteer’s time.

Please finalize your interview dates by Friday August 10 at 10 PM. You will not be able to reschedule after this deadline.

In the mean time, the Communications Committee invites the community to take a deep dive into our findings and recommendations from Phase 1.

Download the report and see how parent volunteers are transforming communications at Main Street Academy.

TMSA Open Enrollment Information

The 2018– 2019 Online Open Enrollment Application is now available!

We have transitioned from Lotterease to SchoolMint. SchoolMint will streamline all aspects of enrollment, including re-enrollment, applications, lotteries, waitlist management, registration, and year-round communications and forms. All correspondence from SchoolMint will be sent through email, voicemails and text messages.

Applying is easy using our Online Application. We require families to apply online as it simplifies submission and provides parents a tool for tracking online the status of their admission after their application has been submitted.

Our TMSA application process is self-managed which means that it is the responsibility of the parents to track the application from start to finish. Parents should ensure all information and required documentation is submitted in a timely manner once their acceptance is confirmed.
