Mr. Walls is the Student Supports lead teacher for 6th-8th grades at The Main Street Academy (T.M.S.A).  Mr. Walls provides support services to students in a variety of settings.  He collaborates with teachers, parents, administration, etc. to develop individualized education plans to students.  Mr. Walls has been teaching for ten  years and has taught here at T.M.S.A for six years.  Mr. Walls holds a Bachelors in Special Education and a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership.  He also holds Georgia certification in special education and educational leadership.  Before joining the T.M.S.A family, Mr. Walls taught in the public sector at the middle and high school levels in Alabama.   
 
Mr. Walls has coached T.M.S.A Debate Team since, 2014 and seen students improve their writing and speaking skills as a result of debating.  Mr. Walls also works in partnership with Fulton County Youth Commissioner to provide opportunities and experiences outside of school to our scholars at T.M.S.A.   
 
Mr. Walls enjoys living a healthy lifestyle by working-out, riding bikes, running, and hiking.  He also enjoys traveling, concerts, reading (self-help) books, movies, and spending time with family and friends.  
 
What Mr. Walls enjoys most about teaching is spending time with each student and getting to know them as individuals.  Mr. Walls believes every scholar learns in their own special way.  His passion is to encourage every scholar to become life long learners and reach for the stars.  believes students should learn learners so they may achieve their goals.
