The Main Street Academy (TMSA) is proud to celebrate National School Counseling Week by recognizing our dedicated School Counselor, Marchketa Smallwood.
Mrs. Smallwood plays a vital role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional well-being of all TMSA students. Following the American School Counseling Association Model and Fulton County Schools' standards, she provides a range of counseling services to help students navigate challenges, set goals, and build the skills they need for success.
More than just a counselor, Mrs. Smallwood is an advocate, mentor, and champion for every student. She is committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive school environment where all students feel heard, valued, and empowered.

The theme is: School Counseling: Helping Students Thrive. National School Counseling Week, presented by the American School Counselor Association, highlights the tremendous impact school counselors can have in helping students achieve school success and plan for a career.
