Kappa Epsilon Psi Military Sorority International, Inc. Donates $10,000 to The Main Street Academy’s 2024-2025 Annual Innovation Fund

Kappa Epsilon Psi Military Sorority International, Inc. has chosen The Main Street Academy (TMSA) to receive a generous $10,000 donation for its 2024-2025 Annual Innovation Fund. This contribution marks the largest single donation to the fund so far this school year.

Dr. Chad Owes, Executive Director of TMSA, expressed his gratitude, saying, "We are deeply appreciative of the financial support and the educational partnership opportunities Kappa Epsilon Psi Military Sorority has provided. Their contribution will play a key role as we continue to expand our Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts/Agriculture, and Math (STEAM) programs."

Kappa Epsilon Psi Military Sorority also shared their excitement, stating, "The Main Street Academy’s commitment to enriching the lives and futures of underserved students through STEAM initiatives aligns perfectly with our mission. We are proud to support their work and to spotlight the incredible impact they are making."

The donation was officially presented to TMSA on October 31, 2024, in a ceremony attended by the school’s Governing Board members, administrators, teachers, staff, and students. October 31st also marked Character Day for Red Ribbon Week, which is why students were out of uniform. 

A special thanks goes to TMSA Governing Board Member MIchael Glanton, who played a pivotal role in establishing the partnership between The Main Street Academy and Kappa Epsilon Psi Military Sorority. The Main Street Academy looks forward to building a lasting partnership with Kappa Epsilon Psi Military Sorority in the years to come.

Established in 2010, The Main Street Academy (TMSA) is a longstanding, tuition-free STEM Certified public charter school that serves and educates students in grades K – 8.
