Red Ribbon Week Inspires Kids to Be DRUG FREE

Red Ribbon Week is a national campaign held from October 23 - 31, 2024 to promote drug-use prevention and encourage healthy, drug-free lifestyles. However, The Main Street Academy will celebrate Red Ribbon Week October 28 - November 1, 2024. 

Red Ribbon Week honors DEA agent Enrique "Kiki" Camarena, and schools and communities participate with themed activities and educational programs to raise awareness about the dangers of drug abuse.

Book Character Day

Character Book Day Important Reminders:
- Everyone dressed in costumes MUST have the corresponding book.
- All costumes must be school-appropriate.
- No masks are allowed.
- Uniforms are not required if the student is dressed as a book character.
- All students not dressed as a character must wear their school uniforms.
