PSAT 8/9 for TMSA's 7th and 8th Graders - Fees Due by Aug. 30, 2024

PSAT 8/9 will take place:

October 7, 2024 at 8:00 A.M.

We are allowing 7th and 8th grade students to participate in taking the PSAT.

Why should your student take the PSAT?

  • S/he will gain practice with standardized test without any pressure.
  • Magnet high schools and private schools often use PSAT scores for admittance.
  • It offers an opportunity to see your students’ progress relative to college preparation.
  • Students will take the SAT in 11th grade to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship. 
  • Practice will help to improve your student’s score and understanding of the test.
  • Access to career roadmaps, which help students see where their interests can take them.

Important Items to Remember:

  • The cost is $14, pay through Schoolbucks by August 30th
  • Tests will only be ordered based on the number of paid students only
  • The test will be 2 hours and 25minutes long, so please have your student arrive to school by 7:45 am on test day
