PSAT 8/9 will take place:
October 7, 2024 at 8:00 A.M.
We are allowing 7th and 8th grade students to participate in taking the PSAT.
Why should your student take the PSAT?
- S/he will gain practice with standardized test without any pressure.
- Magnet high schools and private schools often use PSAT scores for admittance.
- It offers an opportunity to see your students’ progress relative to college preparation.
- Students will take the SAT in 11th grade to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship.
- Practice will help to improve your student’s score and understanding of the test.
- Access to career roadmaps, which help students see where their interests can take them.
Important Items to Remember:
- The cost is $14, pay through Schoolbucks by August 30th
- Tests will only be ordered based on the number of paid students only
- The test will be 2 hours and 25minutes long, so please have your student arrive to school by 7:45 am on test day
