On Tuesday, May 14, 2024, TMSA’s National Junior Honor Society and National Elementary Honor Society hosted Family Night for our school community. The members planned and executed this event for their end-of-year service-learning project, and it was a HUGE success! TMSA families engaged in numerous STEAM activities and games. STEAM activities included ice-cream making, building and racing cars, rock painting, making lava lamps, building towers, puppet making, paper rockets & paper chain challenge, and making slime. The game room had interactive games such as Jeopardy, Giant Uno, Jenga, Connect Four, and musical chairs. Parents, staff, and students engaged in healthy competition and positive relationship-building activities throughout the evening. TMSA’s PTO partnered with the NEHS/NJHS chapter and provided prize bags for the scholars. Staff members donated items for the raffle. Our members, along with parent and teacher volunteers, managed the concessions stand and various STEAM and game stations.
Thank you to the TMSA school community for participating in the Family Night event. Our honor society scholars are extremely proud of the event’s success.
