With the help of dedicated educators, Exceptional Children see a bright future. Join in honoring them during Exceptional Children’s Week, April 15-19, 2024.
Exceptional Children’s Week is an annual celebration of infants, toddlers, children, and youth with disabilities and/or gifts and talents. The week-long celebration is a national event started by the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC), an international professional organization dedicated to improving the success of children and youth with disabilities and/or gifts and talents.
This year's theme:
Championing Tomorrow: Embracing Inclusive Technology for All Students
In celebration, The Main Street Academy is hosting a creative contest for students. The contest details are as follows:
- Creative submissions must focus on this year's theme and may be presented in a format chosen by the student. This can be an electronic format (i.e. video, PowerPoint, Google Draw, Essay, etc.) or created by the student (original artwork, 3D, written work).
- Email the creative submissions to [email protected].
- The submission deadline is Thursday, April 18th by noon.
- The student will receive a $50 gift card, and be displayed on our website, social media, etc.
- The winner will be announced on Friday, April 19th during morning announcements.
