TMSA Schoolwide Spring 2024 Picture Day

 
Dear Students and Parents,

The Main Street Academy is excited to host Spring Picture Day on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. This special day offers the opportunity for students to capture memories and showcase their style and personality. Though TMSA's official uniform is not required on this picture day, ALL K- 8 students MUST adhere to the dress code guidelines provided below to maintain a respectful and appropriate environment for this special occasion.

PLEASE NOTE: the guidelines below list what is allowed. If it is not listed, it is NOT dress code appropriate.

Dress Code Guidelines:

Permitted Attire: Students are encouraged to wear Spring-themed attire such as:

  • Button-down collar shirts
  • Polo shirts
  • Khakis
  • Dress pants
  • Dresses
  • Skirts (knee length and longer)

Prohibited Items: To maintain decorum and professionalism, the following items are not permitted:

  • Crop tops
  • Ripped jeans, nor ripped jeans with leggings underneath
  • Hoodies
  • Crocs, slides, sandals, or open-toe shoes
  • Leggings
  • Shorts 
  • Pajamas
  • Bodysuits or one-piece apparel of any kind
  • Bodycon dresses
  • Skirts (above the thigh)
  • Dresses (above the thigh)
  • Hat, scarf, and/or headband
  • Athletic attire (including TMSA athletic or sports uniforms)
 
Compliance and Participation:
TMSA will be monitoring students and their attire on Picture Day. If a student's attire does not comply with the dress code, the student will NOT be allowed to take a photo. A makeup picture day will not be held.

Both student individual and class group pictures will be taken on Spring Picture Day. Both individual and class pictures may be ordered  online in advance via LifeTouch.com:

Also, TMSA parents and guardians are invited to volunteer on Spring Picture Day! Click here to sign up and volunteer ( volunteer training and certification are required).
