Greetings TMSA Families and Friends,
Recently, Principal Abdul-Salaam announced his departure from The Main Street Academy (TMSA), effective June 30, 2023. Mr. Abdul-Salaam will continue to serve as principal through the end of the summer and is committed to working with the newly selected principal, administrative team, and staff to ensure a smooth transition.
Principal Abdul-Salaam states, “I am grateful to the TMSA community for allowing me to serve as your principal. The Main Street Academy is in good hands with talented leadership, dedicated staff, and committed families as pillars of our school community.”
Having served as a TMSA parent, board member, and principal; Mr. Abdul-Salaam leaves his mark and legacy in many ways that are unforgettable. We are committed to working over the next several weeks to identify a highly qualified principal who will lead and continue working with our dedicated staff as they prepare our scholars with a challenging and enriching education in the coming months and years. Please know that the principal search is currently underway and more information will be shared with our school community in the coming days.
