The dynamic group of young ladies initially met while attending middle school at The Main Street Academy and continued to foster their supportive friendship throughout high school – attending Fulton County Schools’ North Springs Charter School and Westlake High School.
This notable group of TMSA alumnae, the Fabulous Five, is a shining example of how public charter schools give students the opportunity to grow and achieve.
Jaylin Ellison states, “TMSA is such an integral part of my childhood and education. I have so many fond memories but some that stick out are my middle school cheer days! It taught me discipline, leadership and patience. The comraderies formed at TMSA helped to shape me into the young lady I am today. I also LOVED Mrs. Bynoe’s class because it challenged me in ways that I never knew I would need. Most of all, the friendships that I have gained, I know will last a lifetime and I am forever indebted to TMSA for bringing us together.”
Fun Fast Fact: Jaylin Ellison’s dad, Darren Ellison, coaches basketball at The Main Street Academy. Coach Ellison’s middle school boys’ basketball team won the PSG League Basketball Championship this past March!
