On March 1, 2023, Principal Abdul-Salaam announced The Main Street Academy’s 2023 – 2023 Support Professional of the Year and Teacher of the Year. Congratulations to Mrs. Karelle Williams, Teacher of the Year, and Ms. Sara – Ashley Spear, Support Professional of the Year.
Mrs. Williams and Ms. Spear were selected by peer votes and participated in panel interviews prior to being respectively selected as 2023 – 2024 Teacher of the Year and Professional of the Year by the committee. Next, Mrs. Williams and Ms. Spear will participate in Fulton County Schools county-wide competitions, activities and events representing The Main Street Academy.

2023 - 2024 Support Professional of the Year - Ms. Sara-Ashley Spear
Ms. Spear joined TMSA during the 2020 – 2021 academic school year as a paraprofessional for kindergarten and currently supports first grade. Ms. Spear has two daughters who currently attend The Main Street Academy.
