The Main Street Academy welcomes Mrs. Priscilla Lee, School Social Worker.
As TMSA’s new social worker, Mrs. Lee’s vision is to build a positive rapport with students, parents/guardians and staff. Additionally, Mrs. Lee will assist in decreasing tardiness and absences among students by developing an attendance team that focuses on incentivizing students, as well as their parents/guardians, for on-time school arrival.
Prior to joining The Main Street Academy on March 27, 2023, Mrs. Lee was a Site Coordinator for eight years at Communities In Schools of Atlanta. As a Site Coordinator, Mrs. Lee provided wrap-around services (case management, advocacy, supportive counseling, family engagement, individual/group counseling, and home visits) to students in the Fulton County and DeKalb County school systems. Mrs. Lee has extensive experience in sexual and domestic violence.
A native of Thomasville, Georgia, Mrs. Lee received her BS in Communications from Georgia Southern University, MSW from Florida State University and MBA from the University of Phoenix.
Mrs. Lee is a die-hard FSU Seminoles fan and Georgia Bulldogs fan (go, Dawgs)! Her hobbies include traveling, shopping, collecting designer watches and purses, watching Forensic Files television show, and spending time with her family – husband, son and daughter.
Welcome to TMSA, Mrs. Lee!
