On Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2023, TMSA's Extended Care Program showered students with love with an ice cream sundae bar! A big thank you to the parents who donated toppings, such as sprinkles, chocolate chips, and chocolate syrup. TMSA's 6th grade students assisted 120 students from the Extended Care Program to make their sundaes, as well as younger students who assisted in the clean up. It was fantastic to see students step up to help create a fun event!
The Extended Care Program's Fun Fridays have really popped since the start of the new year! Students made a tasty New Year punch with a gummy bear garnish during the first Friday post Winter Break. They also built a popper using common supplies (balloons, duct tape and plastic cups). Once the poppers were completed, a contest was held to award the popper that could move the fastest and travel the farthest.
