The Main Street Academy administers WriteScore three times a year to assess students’ writing skills. The purpose of the assessment is to obtain students' feedback that will enable the school to aid them in improving their writing communication skills.
WriteScore is not only an assessment tool, but also a supplemental instructional tool aligned with Georgia Standards used by TMSA’s English Language Arts teacher to provide targeted individualized learning and practice opportunities in classrooms.
TMSA will administer WriteScore to all K-8 students during the weeks of February 6th and February 13th. K-2nd grades will test using pencil and paper and 3rd-8th grades will use Chromebooks. If your child has a Chromebook at home, please ensure that they bring the Chromebook to school every day.
