Introducing K.C. Revere, TMSA's New Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Innovation

Ms. Revere has served students in Georgia’s urban and suburban school districts - since 2000 - in roles such as, English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) District Liaison, English Language Arts, Reading, and Social Science Teacher (Regular Education and GIfted), Literacy Coach, Instructional Coach, Assistant Principal, School Improvement Grant Coordinator, K-12 ELA Curriculum Coordinator, and K-12 Academic Programs Assistant Director. No matter the role, K.C.’s focus is on having a positive impact on school culture and student achievement while leading with passion and innovation.

Ms. Revere is a native Atlantan and a product of Atlanta Public Schools - attending R. N. Fickett Elementary School, Ralph Johnson Bunche Middle School and Frederick Douglass High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications from DePauw University, a master’s degree in Counseling and Psychology from Troy State University, a master’s degree in Secondary Education from Grand Canyon University and a Specialist degree in Teacher Leadership from Piedmont College. When she is not working, she enjoys traveling internationally, spending time with family, and serving the community as a member of Douglas-Carroll-Paulding Counties Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
