The Fulton School Counselors Association (FSCA) recently awarded fifth grade The Main Street Academy (TMSA) scholar, Eryona Land, with the 2022 Fulton School Counselors Association’s Book Scholarship. Eryona, the sole winner in the Fulton County Schools elementary category, is the recipient of a $50 book scholarship. Eryona was awarded the scholarship based on the nomination from TMSA’s School Counselor, Ms. Letzler.
On Friday, May 13, 2021, TMSA officially presented Eryona with her certificate and scholarship. Additionally, TMSA’s Media Specialist, Ms. Carnell, presented Eryona with the book titled, “Smile,” due to the infectious smile Eryona displays during her frequent visits to the school library.
Eryona, both excited and humbled, to receive the scholarship stated, “I will use my scholarship to purchase books to read to my sisters!” Eryona has three siblings who also attend TMSA (pictured to the right).
FSCA Recognition and Awards Banquet will be hosted on May 17, 2022. The guest speaker will be GSCA 2021 School Counselor of the Year, Beth Ruff, Cobb County School District.
Congratulations Eryona and Ms. Letzler!
