The Pandemic Electric Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) issuance schedule that was set for delivery in the state of Georgia has been met. Childcare benefits have been released and teams have also finalized processing benefits for K-12 students statewide. This means that eligible students who are also SNAP (formerly food stamp) recipients will have P-EBT benefits automatically loaded to their cards before the end of December.
***Non-SNAP student recipients should allow an additional three to four weeks for a P-EBT card to be mailed to the address listed on file with their local school during the 2020-2021 term. Please allow through January 15, 2022, for card delivery prior to submitting an inquiry.
For general information about the P-EBT benefits program and for assistance with troubleshooting issues, call the P-EBT Hotline at 855-501-Info (4636).

Will I receive a benefit?
The following steps should be followed to help determine if a P-EBT benefit is being issued for a particular student:
- Step 1: Review the 0-5 or K-12 Payments by County documents to see which schools, counties and districts participated.
- Step 2: Review the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) list to determine if the child’s school was included for the 2020-2021 school term.
- Step 3: After performing steps 1 and 2, if assistance is still needed, call the P-EBT hotline at 855-501-INFO (4636).
- STEP 4: Note that eligibility determinations are made at the local, school and district levels. If the school or student was not found in the first three steps, questions should be directed back to Ms. McCoy via email only at [email protected].
