Let's start this school year focusing on the positives!
A lot of conversations revolve around learning loss and how to get our kids caught up. There's a lot of pressure on students, parents, and teachers; and we will get there! But let's also take a moment and reflect on some things our kids did well!
The independence and responsibility of students logging into class, keeping up with their classwork, and becoming more vocal during virtual classes are just a few things our kids learned last school year during virtual instruction.
Parents let's remind our kids of these great practices they learned as motivation this new school year to help them focus on doing their best!
A great way to help our students maintain focus is to have a nutritious breakfast! This school year, all students eat free breakfast and lunch, but we still need a count of our students, and you can help us with our count by completing the school meals application. I also want to encourage parents/guardians to volunteer at school when opportunities are presented.
You can find out more information on volunteering at TMSA, including background checks, please click http://bit.ly/TMSAVolunteer
Thank you for being a part of the TMSA Community!
