TMSA kindergarten scholars are learning the following core subject fundamentals as they complete the third week of school:
Reading: Recognizing and identifying the letter and sound for Cc. With prompting and support, retell familiar stories, including key details.
Writing: Practicing using a combination of drawing, dictating, and writing to narrate a single event or several loosely linked events, tell about the events in the order in which they occurred, and provide a reaction to what happened.
Math: Recognizing and drawing 2D shapes, Identifying and describing 2D and 3D shapes. Correctly name shapes regardless of their orientations or overall size.
Social Studies: Demonstrating the understanding of good citizenship/leaders by explaining how/why rules are made; describe examples of positive character traits of good citizens/leaders.
Reminder: 2D and 3D shapes project due September 16th.
