COVID-19 Back-to-School Reminders

As a reminder, as we embark upon the 2021 – 2022 academic school year, please note if you, your child, or someone in your home have tested positive for COVID-19 or will be tested for COVID-19 due to exposure or symptoms (please see listing below for COVID-19 symptoms) please keep your child/TMSA student home. Immediately contact TMSA’s school nurse, Nurse Jackson, by email at [email protected] or by phone 404-768-0081 ext.113.

 

Most importantly, continue to stay safe, wear your masks, and avoid crowded places.

COVID-19 Symptoms: 

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Look for emergency warning signs for COVID-19. If someone is showing any of these signs, seek emergency medical care immediately:
  • Trouble breathing
  • Persistent pain or pressure in the chest
  • New confusion
  • Inability to wake or stay awake
  • Pale, gray, or blue-colored skin, lips, or nail beds, depending on skin tone

 

Call your medical provider for any other symptoms that are severe or concerning to you.
