Lockers:

Students may purchase TMSA issued lockers for $10 electronically via MySchoolBucks.  Lockers may be decorated on the inside onlyThere will be no need for individual locks.  Additional information about lockers will be available at TMSA's Sneak Peak on Friday, July 30th.

Book Bags:

There are no restrictions on book bags.  If nefarious activities are suspected, students may be asked to empty their bags.  Parents will be notified if students’ bags are asked to be emptied by the student.  If lockers are purchased, students will be required to keep bags in lockers until needed.

Cell Phones:

There is a NO CELL PHONE policy at The Main Street Academy.  If cell phones are visible, they will be confiscated by the supervising adult.  Cell phones can only be picked up by a parent or guardian.  If students fail to comply with turning over cell phones, parents/guardians will be notified and students are subject to two days of “out of school suspension”.  If a student’s cell phone is confiscated on more than two occasions, he/she is subject to two days of “out of school suspension”.

School Supplies and Other Back to School Questions:

The Main Street Academy's 2021 - 2022 Back-to-School Guide is available to obtain information related to grade-level school supply lists and other relevant back-to-school questions.

Additional Resource for Middle School Students and Families:

Parental support plays an important part in helping preteens and teens succeed in middle school. But as students grow more independent during these years, it can be hard for parents to know which situations call for involvement and which call for a more behind-the-scenes approach.
