Due to forecasted inclement weather, The Main Street Academy’s campus will be closed on Thursday, March 18, 2021.
Students should adhere to the following guidelines on March 18th:
Households Not Experiencing Power Issues
- Students should log into their regularly scheduled classes (core and specials).
- If teacher is online, virtual classes resume as normal.
- If teacher is not online due to his/her inability to connect due to power outage issues, students should access OTUS for assignments uploaded in advance, complete iReady lessons (take advantage of and participate in the current "Yes, I Can" iReady contest) and/or complete late assignments.
- Once a student accesses a virtual class and the teacher is not in attendance due to power outage issues, the student will receive an excused absence.
Households Experiencing Power Outages
- Students will receive an excused absence from missed classes due to inclement weather.
TMSA administrators are monitoring the campus on March 18th and will inform parents/guardians of the campus status on Friday, March 19th.
TMSA’s Virtual Hotline will be available (barring no power outage issues) if you need assistance.
