The month of February may be the shortest month of the year, but its impact is very significant as we recognize Black History Month and two very special TMSA teachers - Ms. Whetstone and Ms. Jenkins.
Congratulations to TMSA's February 2021 Teachers of the Month Ms. Whetstone and Ms. Jenkins!
Assistant Principal Avery proclaims, "Please join me in recognizing Ms. Whetstone as TMSA’s February 2021 Teacher of the Month! Ms. Whetstone’s engagement with her students during virtual learning is very impressive. During instructional lessons, she is actively models and engages with her students in a way that draws them into the content. Thank you, Ms. Whetstone, for bringing such enthusiasm into the lives of your first-grade students during virtual instruction!”
Dr. Tempro states, “In education there is no such thing as a “typical day”. Ms. Jenkins is the embodiment of this sentiment. There is nothing typical about her approach to education. She has a certain rhythm to her instruction and continuously goes above and beyond with her students. Ms. Jenkins’ patience and her investment to TMSA is second to none. Congratulations Ms. Jenkins as you’ve earned TMSA’s February 2021 Teacher of the Month Award!”
