TMSA Governing Board Update (2/11/2021)

Dear TMSA Parents, Guardians and Staff - 

This evening, The Main Street Academy's Governing Board approved the continuation of remote learning (virtual) until the end of the 2020 - 2021 academic school year, until community spread is below 125/100,000 cases for at least two consecutive weeks or until further decision by the Governing Board. TMSA's facilities will remain open to employees, vendors, and contractors. During the interim, continued deep cleaning and sanitation will continue throughout our school's campus. 

TMSA's Re-Opening Committee, chaired by Governing Board member Ishmael Abdul - Salaam, will meet weekly until early March (timeframe subject to extension). The Re-Opening Committee meetings, which are virtual, are open to the public and the weekly schedule with logistics is available and accessible via the school's official website, tmsa.org.

TMSA’s Governing Board, Re-Opening Committee and administration will continue to explore options to incorporate face-to-face instruction. TMSA will continue to update our community regarding any changes to instruction.

The Main Street Academy's front office is open from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (excluding holidays).

As a friendly reminder, school is closed (no classes) on Monday, February 15, 2021 in observance of President's Day.
