TMSA's First 100 Days of School Celebration

The Main Street Academy celebrates the first 100 days of the 2020 – 2021 school academic year today, Friday, January 29, 2021. Both virtual students and students on campus for face-to-face instruction participated in the celebration.

TMSA first grader, D. Williams, stated, “The Main Street Academy is the best school ever, I love my school.”

TMSA’s first grade classes elevated the school’s 100 days celebration to extraordinary levels. Both Ms. Veal/Ms. Smalls and Mr. Aiken’s first grade classes incorporated their Leader in Me leadership, as well as their Social Studies and Science standards highlighting the Lunar New Year, into today’s 100 days celebration.

Ms. Whetstone and Ms. Bryan’s first grade class (both virtual and on campus students) celebrated TMSA’s first 100 days of this academic school year by fashionably dressing up as 100-year-olds.

Other TMSA classes celebrated 100 days by incorporating it into other festivities, such as Fun Friday.

However, today’s 100 days celebration was especially delightful as students exhibited acts of kindness on the final day of The Great Kindness Challenge recognized at TMSA this week.

Thank you TMSA teachers and students for 100 days of teaching and learning! Also, special thanks to Leader in Me and Panda Express for sponsoring The Main Street Academy's Lunar New Year festivities.
