Established in 2010, The Main Street Academy (TMSA) is a longstanding, tuition-free STEM Certified public charter school that serves and educates students in grades K – 8 who reside in the Fulton County Schools district.
The school’s mission focuses on providing a challenging and enriching curriculum that centers on developing the whole child - intellectual, artistic, character, and health. Led by highly qualified teachers, students receive a unique and rigorous learning curriculum. TMSA’s innovative Project-Based Learning approach with an integrated STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) framework helps our diverse base of students become 21st-century leaders.
TMSA is also a community for committed families who want their students to be grounded in character and inspired by academic advancements to thrive in a competitive, evolving world.
Nestled in a historic College Park, Georgia neighborhood amongst tall oak and magnolia trees, TMSA's 38-acre campus encompasses a 110,000 square-foot educational building with a media center, band room, art, and music rooms, and a gymnasium. TMSA's Innovation Center opened in June 2022 and provides an additional 10,000 square feet of learning space focusing on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math). The Innovation Center includes a Design & 3D Print Shop, E-Sports Lab, Career Awareness Classroom, Technology Classroom, Elementary STEAM Lab, Middle Grades STEAM Lab, Communications Office, Teacher Workroom, and a Talented & Gifted Classroom.
