Below is a table that outlines the concept we covered today, the weekend’s homework, and a helpful video if the notes are not helpful. I will also be available via email if there are any questions.
||We started going over the exponent rules. Today’s rules were the Product Rule and the Quotient Rule. Students should have their notes with 4 examples worked out for each rule.
||We have been practicing simplifying radical expressions. Students should have their notes, which includes a step-by-step guide to simplifying radicals with examples.
||On the worksheet passed out in class, they need to complete 7 problems from each side. They were given about 10 minutes at the end of class to start, so they may have finished.
||On the worksheet that was started in class, students need to finish the elephant side. The maze side will be offered for extra credit (counting as a homework grade).
We are excited about the great start to the school year!
